Accounts Receivable Specialist Location:
Brownsburg, IN Overview The Accounts Receivable Specialist supports revenue operations by accurately posting payments, invoicing customers, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies. This role works within established guidelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and Excel skills. Key Responsibilities Post customer payments and reconcile accounts Prepare and send invoices for chemicals, parts, service work orders, and drop shipments Reconcile accounts and resolve aging balances Perform account reconciliations and cost-per-car analysis Enter work orders and support job costing activities Manage AR inbox and respond to customer inquiries professionally Answer phones and serve as backup phone support Maintain spreadsheets using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and XLOOKUPs Scan, code, and maintain AR documentation Support month-end close activities (open items, statements, aging) Ensure compliance with internal controls and documentation standards Systems SAP B1 and ECC (preferred), Excel, Accounting Software Qualifications Associate Degree 3+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) Experience with customer communication and invoicing Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Collections experience a plusPay Details:
