Our team supports operations across transportation, recycling, transfer stations, composting, industrial services, and environmental solutions throughout Indiana. We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. Position Summary The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the company through accurate invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and customer communication. This role plays an important part in maintaining positive customer relationships while ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. Essential Job Responsibilities Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner Monitor and maintain accounts receivable aging reports Apply customer payments and reconcile account balances Contact customers regarding past due balances and payment status Work closely with operations, dispatch, and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies Maintain organized customer account records and documentation Assist with month-end reporting and financial reconciliations Respond to customer billing inquiries professionally and efficiently Support administrative and accounting projects as assigned Qualifications Previous accounts receivable, accounting, or office administration experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with accounting or operational software systems preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why Join Caldwell's?
