Job Description

Accounts Receivable Representatives Join our growing specialty physician practice! We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (A/R) Representative to join our fast-paced Revenue Cycle team. This role is ideal for someone skilled in insurance billing, claim follow-up, and delivering excellent customer service in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Manage and follow up on patient accounts to ensure accurate and timely claim submission Research and resolve unpaid or denied claims; prepare and submit appeals as needed Communicate with patients, payers, and clinic staff to resolve account discrepancies Establish payment arrangements and process refunds when appropriate Collaborate with insurance carriers to secure payments and remittance details Identify denial trends and escalate issues impacting reimbursement Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare insurance, billing, or accounts receivable Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Anthem/BCBS, and commercial payers Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Experience with EMR systems (Epic and/or Acumen preferred) and Microsoft Office Basic understanding of
CPT, ICD-10
