Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper with 5 years or more expertise in QuickBooks and other leading accounting software to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and streamline financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a passion for maintaining precise financial records. Your contributions will help support our organization's financial health and operational efficiency, making a tangible impact every day. Duties Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and other accounting software platforms. Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliation to ensure data integrity. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently while ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare detailed journal entries, analyze account activity, and perform double-entry bookkeeping in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, payroll processing, and tax-related tasks with precision. Assist in budgeting, financial report writing, and financial concept analysis to support organizational decision-making. Support governmental accounting requirements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Handle month-end closing procedures including general ledger accounting, account analysis, and financial statement preparation. Skills Extensive experience with QuickBooks. Strong understanding of corporate accounting practices. Knowledge of GAAP standards, governmental accounting standards, and technical accounting concepts. Proficiency in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger management. Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and double-entry bookkeeping accurately. Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, accounts payable/receivable management, and budget development. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills including 10 key typing proficiency. Effective communication skills for financial report writing and explaining complex concepts clearly. $38,000.00 - $47,000.00 per hour
