LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to identify a motivated Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will focus on managing customer accounts, driving collections efforts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances Perform high-volume collections outreach via phone and email in a professional manner Apply incoming payments and post transactions accurately Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies Research and resolve short payments, deductions, and billing issues Maintain detailed notes and documentation of collection activity Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service, accounting) to resolve payment issues Assist with month-end close, reporting, and AR reconciliations Provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections Strong understanding of AR processes, payment applications, and aging reports Excellent communication skills, especially in collections and conflict resolution Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to manage data and reports) Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.) preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle high volume and meet deadlines
Pay Details:
