Description Job Summary:
To identify malfunctions, remove, repair and install a limited variety of aircraft communication, navigation and electrical components. May be required to assist higher grade technicians.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform analysis of routine electrical malfunctions according to standard shop practices usingsome equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters and continuity lights. Perform minor repair such as replacing wires and connectors on standard electrical components. Under guidance of supervisor, assist with analysis of more complicated malfunctions and repair ofstandard electrical components. Install electrical and electronic components as directed. Responsible only for own work. Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications Education:
Requires a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification to be able to interpret assembly blueprints and to apply shop math.
Experience:
Requires a minimum three months electrical assembly or electrical install experience to be able to apply shop electrical principles.
Working Conditions:
Generally good working conditions, occasionally exposed to disagreeable weather conditions. Textron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
