Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with a strong focus on Accounts Payable to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our financial operations, ensure accurate processing of invoices, and maintain seamless administrative workflows. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial software systems. Duties Manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, data entry, coding, and timely payment processing using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Workday. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently to maintain accurate accounts payable records. Prepare and review journal entries. Assist with accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and collections, to support cash flow management. Support payroll management tasks by processing timekeeping data through systems. Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, supporting documentation, and audit trails for internal reviews and external audits. Qualifications Proven experience in accounts payable processing, bookkeeping, or related administrative roles within a corporate or nonprofit setting. Strong knowledge of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting. Familiarity with financial software including QuickBooks, Sage, Workday, Paychex, Ceridian, PeopleSoft or similar platforms. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing proficiency) and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-moving environment.

From $45,000.00 per year
