Job Description

Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Accounting & Finance Coordinator Hyannis, MA Apply The Accounting & Finance Coordinator provides administrative & clerical support to the accounting & finance functions of the organization. This role supports day-to-day operations, reporting logistics, documentation, & coordination activities for the holding company & its subsidiary banks. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, & the ability to handle sensitive financial information in a regulated environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support Provide administrative support to accounting & finance leadership & staff Maintain calendars, deadlines, & schedules related to accounting close, audits, & reporting Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, & distribute materials Manage department files, documentation, & records (electronic & physical) Accounting & Finance Support Assist with preparation, organization, & distribution of financial reports & schedules Compile data & supporting documentation for month-end & year-end processes Assist with basic data entry, report formatting, & spreadsheet maintenance Track invoices, approvals, & documentation for accounting & finance departments Audit & Regulatory Coordination Assist with audit preparation by organizing requested documentation & schedules Track audit requests & coordinate responses with internal teams Support regulatory exam preparation through document management & follow-up Maintain audit & exam request logs & supporting files Communication & Coordination Serve as a point of contact for internal requests related to accounting & finance documentation Coordinate information flow between the holding company & subsidiary banks Communicate professionally with internal staff, auditors, regulators, & vendors General Office & Project Support Assist with department projects & special assignments as needed Support process improvements related to documentation, filing, & reporting workflows Ensure confidentiality & proper handling of sensitive financial & personnel information
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
(Minimum education required to perform the duties of this position) High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred 1-3 years of administrative experience; financial services or accounting environment preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, & Outlook Ability to format reports, manage spreadsheets, & maintain organized files Experience with document management systems & accounting software a plus
