In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency with financial software, and experience in handling complex AP functions within diverse organizational settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's financial health while developing your expertise in corporate accounting and financial management. Duties Process and verify incoming invoices using SAP software (SAP or other ERP experience Required!) Reconcile accounts payable transactions regularly to maintain accurate records and prevent discrepancies Prepare and review journal entries related to AP activities, including accruals and adjustments Manage vendor inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships through effective communication Assist with month-end closing procedures by providing detailed AP reports and supporting documentation Ensure adherence to SOX compliance requirements by implementing internal controls and audit procedures Support benefits administration and payroll management tasks as needed within HRIS systems like UltiPro or ADP Requirements Proven experience in accounts payable functions within a corporate or non-profit accounting environment Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and double entry bookkeeping practices Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, general ledger reconciliation, and journal entries Ability to analyze financial data effectively and perform account reconciliation tasks efficiently Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment #RJAF123
