Position Description Department Information
The Central Receiving, Inventory, Mail and Moving Services Department (CRIMM) is responsible for receiving all equipment and furnishings shipped to the university, the campus inventory, movement of equipment throughout the campus, and the storage of surplus property. Position Information
The CRIMM Office & Inventory Assistant will be responsible for general office tasks including:
Assisting with inventory management
Making small deliveries across BSU campus
Paperwork/file management
Customer service
Other tasks as assigned Specific essential functions (elaborating on the above) include, but are not limited to:
Assisting and conducting inventory checks/audits in multiple buildings/departments on campus
Processing incoming warehouse deliveries
Delivering IT equipment to the IT department upon request
Delivering a variety of packages to different buildings/departments across campus
Answering phones, greeting visitors, and maintaining communication (email and in-person) communication with BSU faculty/staff
Filing paperwork, data entry, and shredding documents
Other tasks as assigned The ideal candidate would continue this assignment through the 2026-2027 academic year. Eligibility requirements
Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester. Preferred Qualifications Valid driver's license
Open to working 20+ hours for the summer and future winter/summer breaks
Ability to work 10-20 hours during the school year
General understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Dependable, reliable, and organized Physical Demands Ability to lift/carry computer equipment and other small items.
