Job DescriptionJob Description Lex Dev Group is hiring a part-time Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable & Accounting Specialist. About the role Manage accounts payable and billable tasks and general accounting duties for our real estate operations. Primarily remote with occasional in-office meetings. Estimated 8-12 hours per week. Flexible hours; availability for calls and emails preferred. Key responsibilities Process vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Manage customer billing and collections. Maintain accurate general ledger entries and month-end support. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts. Prepare basic financial reports and assist with audits as needed. Coordinate with property managers and other team members on lease and tenant billing issues. Work with and assist other team members on insurance matters and day-to-day operational tasks. Help maintain the existing portfolio and assist with the growth of Lex Dev Group. Required qualifications Extensive experience with QuickBooks Desktop (required). Strong knowledge of real estate accounting (property-level accounting, tenant billing/receipts, CAM reconciliations preferred). Solid Excel skills and attention to detail. Reliable, able to work independently, and responsive during agreed hours. Preferred Prior experience with property management or real estate firms. Familiarity with payroll and sales/use tax basics.
