Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist Fiskdale, MA Apply Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Fiskdale, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing cash applications, credit card reconciliations, and other essential financial activities. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in accounts receivable processes.
Responsibilities:
- Process and apply cash payments accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
- Perform credit card reconciliations to ensure transactions align with financial records.
- Manage commercial collections and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Handle billing functions, including invoice generation and distribution.
- Monitor daily cash activities and maintain proper documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct analyses to identify trends and improve accounts receivable performance.
- Assist with special financial projects as assigned to support business objectives.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service when addressing account inquiries. Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash applications and collections.
- Strong proficiency in handling billing functions and reconciling credit card transactions.
- Familiarity with monitoring and managing cash activities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills to address account discrepancies.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to accounts receivable processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to accounts receivable.
