Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk Wilmington, MA Apply Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Wilmington, Massachusetts. This role requires an individual with strong organizational skills to manage collections, process payments, and handle vendor communications effectively. Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle daily cash applications, including ACH payments and check deposits.
- Perform light collections by following up with clients to resolve outstanding balances.
- Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support billing operations by preparing and issuing invoices as needed.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in receivables and payments.
- Maintain organized financial records for audit and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounts receivable processes. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.
- Proficiency in cash applications and collections processes.
- Strong understanding of billing functions and payment reconciliation.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and client interactions.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and improve processes.
