Job Description

Stonehaven Apartments is seeking a Resident ServicesAR Collections Specialist to support both the resident experience and rent collections efforts at our community. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling accounts receivable, delinquent accounts, and payment plan discussions -while still providing excellent customer service. Because we are a small office team , this position also includes some leasing support as needed . Key Responsibilities Post rent payments and fees accurately and daily Monitor resident accounts, balances, and delinquency Communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans Execute consistent collections strategies to reduce delinquency Prepare late notices and collection-related correspondence Maintain detailed records of all collection activity Process invoices and assist with accounts payable coordination Answer phones, assist residents, and support general office operations Assist with leasing inquiries, tours, and follow-up as needed Qualifications 2+ years of experience in property management, accounts receivable, or collections Experience handling delinquent accounts and payment arrangements preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Why Join Stonehaven?
