CFS is partnering with a client, a healthcare organization in Severna Park, MD to hire an Accounting Assistant to support during a large organizational transtiion Position is fully on site in Severna Park, MD area Company offers free parking to employees! Reports to the Finance Consultant Job Duties for the
Accounting Assistant:
Update contracts Monthly ACH collections Input and record payments, charges, and credits to proper accounts Ensure that all AP entries and invoices are accurately entered and exported Perform weekly check runs Work with vendors to resolve accounts payable issues Assist with preparation and distribution of monthly bills and invoices Prepare daily bank deposits Complete monthly sales and use tax reporting Provide admin support to multiple departments Qualifications for the
Accounting Assistant:
2+ years related administrative and accounting experience required Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required Experience using EMR/standard accounting systems a plus Basic Excel skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good sense of humor, team player Must be able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment criminal background screening
Schedule:
100% on site. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
Salary:
$50,000-$55,000 #INMAY2026
