In this role, you will work closely with the Owners and the Financial Advisor to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company's compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. A Background Check is required for hiring. Responsibilities Enter financial data and transactions Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered Prepare trial balance Analyze budgets and other financial information Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Complete required tax forms Qualifications Previous experience as a bookkeeper, or similar financial position Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks Online, and basic accounting systems Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
