Job Description

HELLS CANYON GRAND
HOTEL, Ascend Hotel Collection is the Lewis Clark Valley's premier full service hotel! For more than 30 years locally owned and locally operated with the taste and flair of the Northwest! Accounting Office Clerk will work closely with our leadership team to support the accounting office with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Daily Sales and Labor Reporting, GL Coding and Accounts, and department budgeting, as well as handle daily cash balancing and banking deposits and associated reports. This is a full-time role, starting pay DOE plus benefit package to include major medical insurance, optional dental/vision coverage, retirement savings plan, vacation and sick leave, Food & Beverage perm account, discounted gym membership, and more!
Other skills include:
Complete multiple tasks in various software platforms, including Excel. Knowledge in Accounting Software, PMS and POS programs. Must have positive communication skills and customer service skills. Knowledge in State and Federal Laws and Regulations pertaining to licensing, permits and documents pertaining to business expectations. Proficient in contractual documentations for capital expenses and agreements.
Proficient in billing and receiving:
All Cash Handling Skills. Being organized, timely and goal oriented. Must have experience and knowledge of all accounting proficiencies to manage an office of integrity. A degree in business accounting, accounting, business management is not expected yet would be helpful for this role but not necessarily required.
