In this vital role, you will support the schools Business Office with essential clerical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth financial operations. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help maintain accurate records, facilitate communication, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our office. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting and office management skills in a professional environment. Duties Manage data entry for invoices, payments, payroll, and expense reports using QuickBooks and other accounting software Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling accounts and maintaining financial records Support front desk operations by greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with professional phone etiquette Handle filing, proofreading documents, and organizing financial documents to ensure accuracy and accessibility Provide customer support via phone or email, addressing inquiries promptly and courteously Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments for team members or clients Perform general office management duties such as organizing supplies, managing office correspondence, and supporting administrative projects Requirements Proven experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Charter School experience Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications Strong vendor relations Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Previous office or clerical experience, ideally in an educational setting Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and support experience Strong typing speed and data entry accuracy; proofreading skills are a plus Experience in office management, calendar coordination, or personal assistant roles is preferred Join us as an Accounting Assistant where your enthusiasm for organization and support will make a meaningful impact!
