Job Description
Description RedWater is seeking a strong & motivated individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. This individual will be responsible for reconciling daily sales of the country clubs & restaurants, along with assisting in some accounts receivable duties. We are looking for an individual with a high level of detail in reviewing sales records and processing sales data. Independent decision-making is expected since employee will function within a well-defined framework of procedures under general supervision. Education Associates or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. Experience Some accounting (or related field) experience or internship preferred. Responsibilities & Duties Prepare / reconcile daily sales reports and deposits Process member payments Maintain member account database Maintain various Excel spreadsheets Respond to email / phone inquiries from customers, members, vendors & associates Characteristics Detailed & organized Strong follow-up & follow-through tendencies/abilities Strong initiative & ability to work independently Ability to learn quickly Honest & ethical Responsible & dependable Onsite Location Cascade Road Southeast, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49546 Schedule Full time (Monday - Friday, 9AM to 5PM) Starting Pay Range $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, Vision, Dental Insurance Plans
