If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Kentwood that are seeking Bookkeepers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors. Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection activities. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly. Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries. Prepare and assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods specific to manufacturing. Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial transactions and reporting. Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, expense reporting, and assist with month-end close processes. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records and data.
