Summary:

Accounts Payable provides general accounting support to the accounting department.

Qualifications:

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

One year of experience in an office environment. Experience with A/P preferred.

Job Functions:

Receives and verifies invoices from the facilities Ensures proper COA coding Run reports as directed Maintain appropriate files for vendors Process payments to vendors as directed Communicate with vendors and facilities related to accounts payables. Conduct special projects as assigned Keeps confidential all patient and employee information. Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of accounts payable practices and techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, facilities and employees, and at all levels of the organization. Skilled in the use of computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information to assure resident rights are protected.
