Job Description

DUTIES Provide timely and accurate payment processing by processing a A/P checksDevelop and maintain reports and files in QuickBooks and ExcelInvestigate and resolve all A/P related irregularitiesAssist with monthly closing procedures including all A/P accrual reportingAssist in the preparation of Aging ReportsInquire/Distribute statements to customers to reduce past due issuesProvide customer service by timely responding to questions from vendors concerning payments and queries by colleagues concerning invoices and paymentsReconcile A/R Inventory Reports on a bi-monthly or monthly basisInput A/R data into Excel and QuickBooks for assigned customersGenerate invoices for both domestic and international customers as assignedLog into customer portal's to acquire required payment data for assigned customersGeneral Accounting Department duties such as filing, scanning, etc.

Assist in customer presentations and prepare marketing materialsAssist in performing company sales functionsAssist in preparing quotes for existing customersReach out to new customers to fuel sales growthOther duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Accounting/Finance OR 1- 2 years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivableKnowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies and procedures that is reflective of the automotive industry is preferredProven, solid Excel skills
