Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description Robert Half is currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist! In this position, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. This is a long-term contract position with a growing company in the east metro.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers
• Verify of documents and codes
• Process payments and compiling segments of monthly closings and annual reports
• Match cash receipts to related customer invoice and enter into cash receipts spreadsheet and billing system

• Collections:

  contact existing clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

• AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related
• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable processing
• Bookkeeping experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks
