What Will You Do? Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Specialist will work on a cross-functional team and play a crucial role in the supplier invoicing process. The role is responsible for supplier payment workflow, providing accounting support throughout Zero Zone and working to promote continuous improvement throughout the payment process.

Essential Responsibilities:

Daily/Weekly:

Assist with A/P Vouchering Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring proper coding and approvals. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Maintain A/P Files Supplier Maintenance in

IFS Monthly:

Print and Review Purchased Receipts Not Invoiced Report/Complete offsets Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Annually:

Assist department with gathering information for year-end audit Setup new annual files Other duties as assigned Requirements for

Effective Performance:

Associate's degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and working experience. Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.

Skills/Abilities/Specifications:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to vendors, clients, and other employees of the organization.
