Accounts Receivable Clerk/Collector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk/Collector to join our team. This position is responsible for managing outstanding customer balances, following up on past-due invoices, and maintaining positive customer relationships while ensuring timely collections.

Responsibilities:

Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and overdue invoices Contact customers via phone and email regarding past-due payments Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues in a professional manner Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communications Work closely with accounting and sales teams to address account concerns Process payments and update account information as needed Assist with monthly AR reporting and aging reviews Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or accounting preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally High school diploma required
