Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description Robert Half has an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist!

Responsibilities of this position include:

enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. This is a long-term contract position with a mid-sized company in the east metro. Responsibilities

• Confirm documents and codes
• Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts
• Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans
• Process payments and reports in compliance with GAAP
• Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
• Knowledgeable of ERP systems
• Great attention to detail
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounts receivable
• Deep understanding of credit collections
• Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
