Accounting Specialist

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist in the Woodbury area!

Pay:

$28-$32/hr Fully onsite temp to hire ASAP Start Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable , including invoice review, coding, and posting Prepare and post journal entries , including accruals, prepaid expenses, and adjustments Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities Maintain accurate and organized financial records and supporting documentation Track and resolve discrepancies in transactions and account balances Support financial reporting by pulling data and preparing schedules Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance requests as needed Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve accounting issues Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Working knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred) Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Dynamics) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
