Job Description

Accounts Payable Specialist About the Role Beacon Hill Financial is currently searching for a contract Accounts Payable Specialist for our client in the Maryland Heights, Missouri area. This position is paying $24-$28/hr depending on experience. Essential Functions:
Process high volume of vendor invoices mostly consisting of matching against purchase orders Work with established AP team members to ensure processing is accurate for assigned business divisions Communicate with appropriate team or department members to escalate invoicing issues Prepare and process payments, such as checks, electronic transfers, or ACH payments. Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and issues. Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices and payments are accounted for accurately
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
