The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing relationships with vendors. As a key member of our finance team, the Accounts Payable Specialist will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the financial success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Process invoices for all branches, departments and shops Reconcile statements monthly ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues in a timely manner Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that accounts payable aligns with the overall goals of the company Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounts payable Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, with experience in a construction setting preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
