Job Description

Job description: Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant Property Management company seeking a detail-oriented person that will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, updating financial records, compiling monthly financial reports and other tasks as necessary. Ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of financial and accounting procedures, a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills. The Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant will manage financial records and provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to learn new accounting/property management software. Responsibilities
  • Assist with all bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Enter and categorize financial transactions in property management software
  • Update and maintain financial records
  • Complete financial reports monthly
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information
  • Complete month-end and year-end close procedures including tax document preparation
  • Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any financial discrepancies
  • Maintain and organize financial files, both digital and physical
  • Complete administrative functions including scheduling, correspondence, and filing
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and deadlines Qualifications
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and knowledge of accounting software
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
