Job Description

Job Summary The Accounts Receivable Team Coordinator is responsible for assisting with general requests made to the AR team to support the productivity of the department. This position reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor or as otherwise noted and protects organizational value by keeping information confidential. Responsibilities Monitor, process, and route accounts receivable requests to allow collectors to focus on collections and accurate invoice processing. Daily Operations Monitor the A/R email inbox and process general requests, including general questions and invoice requests. Process all pre-authorizations, COD, prepay, autopay, and virtual payment requests, and process all credit card transactions. Input ACH payment information on client accounts and report to accounting for proper posting. Research unapplied payments for proper posting or refund. Assign and inform tickets in Spiceworks and delegate to the appropriate A/R representative. Answer incoming calls to the general A/R line and assist with requests or route to the appropriate A/R representative. Process refund requests. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager. Qualification Requirements High School Diploma or GED - Required General math skills Proficiency in Excel and general computer applications Strong organizational skills Problem-solving skills Communication skills, both verbal and written Attention to detail Customer service and negotiation skills Ability to multi-task Ability to work independently or as a team member Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people Physical Demands and Abilities Must be able to remain in a stationary position the majority of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets and office equipment. Regularly spend long hours concentrating, reviewing, and entering financial information. Frequently communicates with customers and staff who have billing inquiries and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, including a printer, calculator, and fax machine. Frequently works on projects with deadlines. $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
