Job SummaryThe Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, resolving invoice discrepancies, and maintaining strong communication with vendors and internal departments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the financial accuracy and integrity of the companys operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficientlyMatch invoices to purchase orders and receive documentationVerify approvals and ensure adherence to company payment policiesReconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely mannerMaintain organized records of AP transactions and documentation across multiple companiesSupport month-end closing processes and AP account reconciliationsCollaborate with purchasing, receiving, and other departments to resolve discrepanciesEnsure compliance with internal controls and audit requirementsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; associates or bachelors degree in accounting or related field a plus2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferredStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyProficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups a plus)As part of our interview process, candidates are asked to complete a brief, hands-on Excel assessment to ensure they have the necessary data management skills for this roleExperience with [ERP system name, AERO, OVO] preferredExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong communication and problem-solving abilities
