20 hours per week Position Summary Tueth Keeney, an established mid-size law firm with offices in Clayton, MO and Edwardsville, IL, seeks a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to provide essential administrative and billing support to the Firm's Accounting Manager. This position would work in the firm's Clayton, Missouri office. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks to support the business operations, including reconciling and coding vendor invoices, preparing client billing documentation, maintaining accurate client records in the firm's practice management system, and processing internal check requests. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with confidential financial and client information. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Expense Reconciliation & Credit Card Invoice Processing
  • Vendor Invoice Processing
  • Client Record Maintenance
  • Prospect Management
Check Request Processing Qualifications Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or some college coursework preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Preferred:
  • Prior experience in a legal, accounting, or professional services office environment
  • Familiarity with legal billing practices, including client matter coding and expense reimbursement
  • Experience with legal practice management or billing software
  • Experience with PDF editing tools (e.
