Job Description

Our client in the Springfield, Massachusetts area is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, and experience managing billing, collections, and cash application activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely mannerPost cash receipts and apply payments to customer accountsMonitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balancesReconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepanciesResearch and address billing questions from customers and internal teamsMaintain accurate account records and documentationAssist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivableSupport process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
