Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper and become a vital part of our financial operations! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. Your expertise will help streamline our bookkeeping processes, facilitate precise financial reporting, and contribute to the success of our mission-driven initiatives. Duties Manage and record all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Prepare journal entries and maintain the integrity of the double-entry bookkeeping system in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly payroll processing and tax-related documentation to ensure compliance with governmental regulations Generate detailed financial reports, including budgets, financial statements, and audit documentation for internal review or external audits Experience Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles within corporate or non-profit settings Strong knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP and governmental accounting standards Hands-on experience with popular accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Familiarity with technical accounting concepts like journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management Ability to perform bank reconciliation, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately Experience in payroll processing and tax preparation is highly desirable Excellent understanding of debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial report writing Demonstrated proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry and account management Embark on a rewarding journey where your meticulous attention to detail fuels our organization's growth! $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
