As a key member of our accounting office, you will ensure accuracy in billing and compliance with dealership processes. Your role will be responsible for processing vehicle sale transactions while ensuring all documents are accurate and complete as well as handling product submittals and cancellations. The position is crutial to the financial health of the dealership and willl be responsible for maintaining precise records, reconciling accounts, and processing transactions with diligence and integrity while working directly with the finance and sales departments.

Responsibilities:

Process primarily used vehicle billing accuratelly and efficiently Process trade payoffs Submit and cancel all aftermarket contracts. Enter in used auction and wholesale purchases while working closely with the auctions and wholesale buyers to maintain purchases are entered and paid on time Verify sale contracts and supporting documents are compliant Conduct month-end closing procedures including processing all deals on time as well as balancing schedules for a clean and accurate month end closing. Collaborate with finance and sales management to resolve discepancies. Cross training for other accounting positions for consistent coverage as well the opportunity for growth and advancement. Skills Strong organizational skills Proficient Microsoft Office Suite knowledge Previous dealership or billing experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial documents Ability to perform detailed data entry with high accuracy using 10 key typing skills and double-entry bookkeeping techniques. Knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes. Ability to work as a team and individually all while having great time managent skills Strong math skills combined with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour
