Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator About the
Position:
We are a premier custom home building group with a combined annual revenue of approximately $20M across four entities: our core $12M custom home company and three specialized trade companies (Excavation, Concrete, and Electrical). As we continue to scale, we are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper/Office Manager to manage our daily financial operations. This is a unique opportunity for an accounting professional who is eager to transition into a Controller-level role. You will work directly with ownership and a Fractional CFO to refine our systems, improve job costing, and support the long-term growth of our multi-entity group.Our Core Values:

General Ledger Management:
Maintain accurate books for four related entities, including the oversight of inter-company transactions and monthly reconciliations.Project Accounting:
Utilize Buildertrend and QuickBooks to track project budgets, process purchase orders, and manage client draws.Cost Code Integrity:
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of our master cost-code system to ensure precise job costing and "Budget vs. Actual" reporting.Full-Cycle AP/AR:
Execute accounts payable (including lien waivers and subcontractor compliance) and accounts receivable functions.Reporting Support:
Gather data from Project Managers to assist the CFO in preparing monthly Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports and cash flow forecasts.Qualifications:
Relevant Experience:
8+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably 3+ within the construction or trades industry.Technical Aptitude:
Proficiency in QuickBooks and a willingness to become a power user in Buildertrend.Team Alignment:
A collaborative mindset and a dedication to providing "full measure" to both your colleagues and our clients.Professional Growth:
