Position Summary:
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the company and its managed communities. This role performs core bookkeeping and accounting functions, including processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with onboarding new community financials. The Accounting Clerk works closely with the accounting and management teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage corporate invoices and billing Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies Assist with onboarding new community financials, including review and validation of prior management data Prepare and post journal entries Support month-end and year-end close processes Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve billing and account issues Ensure documentation and records are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping, accounting clerk, or related experience Proficiency in accounting software (CINC experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of financial statements, general ledger functions, and accounting principles
