Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support financial operations for a Real Estate & Property organization in Charlotte, North Carolina. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who brings strong billing, cash application, and commercial collections experience in a fast-paced environment. The person in this role will help maintain accurate receivables, resolve payment issues efficiently, and contribute to dependable cash flow management.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including invoice review, payment posting, and account reconciliation.
  • Apply incoming cash accurately and promptly while researching discrepancies to ensure clean customer ledgers.
  • Oversee commercial collections efforts by following up on outstanding balances and working with customers to secure timely payment.
  • Prepare and process billing transactions with close attention to lease-related charges, terms, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor daily cash activity and maintain precise records to support reporting and audit readiness.
  • Investigate payment variances, short pays, and unapplied cash, then coordinate resolution with internal teams and external contacts.
  • Support lease accounting-related receivable processes by validating charges and maintaining organized financial records.
