Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist

Job Summary Langer Industrial Services is looking for a skilled accounts payable and receivables specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing all bills and invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. Person must be able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Individuals will be expected to demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing. Must display technical proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

This role requires proven working experience with accounts payables. Individuals should have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles and have experience in calculating, posting, and managing accounting figures and financial records. Hands on experience with spreadsheets and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail are a must.

Accounts Receivable:

This role requires individuals to keep a precise record of all incoming payments accurately and efficiently. Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for. Manage revenue cycle by monitory accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices. Strong analytical skills to assess financial data and identify discrepancies.

Secondary to Scale Clerk duties:

Operate scale to weigh trucks in-bound and out-bound and distribute tickets to truck drivers. Operate the scale to purchase and sell materials, and account for all inventory into and out of the facility. Langer Industrial Services strives to be the best that we can be.
