Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Concord, New Hampshire. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for working in the non-profit sector.
Responsibilities:
Process and manage accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. Generate and distribute invoices to clients while ensuring compliance with billing policies. Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections. Handle commercial collection activities, including negotiating payment terms with clients. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare financial reports related to accounts receivable for internal review. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless cash collection processes. Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data, create reports, and manage accounts receivable records. Maintain strong communication with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve issues. Support the implementation of best practices to improve accounts receivable operations. Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. Strong knowledge of billing and cash collection processes. Familiarity with commercial collections and negotiation techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Prior experience in the non-profit industry is a plus.
