AR Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and customer service will help streamline revenue cycle management and support our organization's financial health. Responsibilities Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers via phone, email, or written correspondence to ensure prompt payment. Conduct analysis of aging reports, identify overdue accounts, and escalate issues as necessary for resolution. Collaborate with other departments such as billing, collections, and customer service to resolve discrepancies and improve cash flow. Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account analysis related to receivables. Qualifications Proven experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles within public accounting or corporate finance environments. Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and analysis skills.
