$24.00/hour QuickBooks Online experience is required A growing company in the Rockaway, NJ area is seeking a detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and is comfortable handling a mix of accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable activities including invoicing, payment posting, collections follow-up, and customer statements
  • Process accounts payable invoices and assist with weekly vendor payments
  • Maintain accurate financial records within QuickBooks Online
  • Set up new customer accounts and recurring billing schedules
  • Review and reconcile transactions, ACH information, and account records
  • Assist with inventory and supply ordering as needed
  • Prepare bank deposits and apply payments accordingly
  • Support month-end administrative and accounting functions
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general office support
  • Assist with employee onboarding paperwork and timesheet tracking
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company records
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
REQUIRED
  • Experience with AP/AR and general office administration
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Associate degree preferred but not required
