Compensation & Benefits $25-$30/hour (temporary period) $55,000-$65,000/year upon permanent hire Opportunity to grow within a manufacturing organization Support from a relationship-focused recruiting partner Job Summary of Accounts Payable Specialist Our manufacturing client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to handle full-cycle AP responsibilities, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations across purchasing, production, and supply chain teams. This is a temp-to-hire role with a clear path to permanent employment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with high-volume vendor invoices in manufacturing or food production environments . Responsibilities of Accounts Payable Specialist Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding for production, packaging, and raw materials Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt) and resolve discrepancies Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments Maintain vendor records, including supplier certifications and compliance documentation Reconcile AP subledger to general ledger and assist with month-end close Support compliance with company policies and internal controls, including food safety and regulatory requirements where applicable Collaborate with procurement, production, and finance teams to resolve invoice or payment issues Skills of Accounts Payable Specialist 3-5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in manufacturing industries Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and strong Excel skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and communication skills Knowledge of vendor compliance and regulatory documentation a plus
