Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

Eastern Glass Resources is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our accounting operations. This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring customer and vendor accounts remain current. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with accounting systems, handling financial transactions, and communicating with customers and vendors regarding billing and payments. Eastern Glass is a leading fabricator and supplier of glass and architectural aluminum panels since 1986. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process and post all vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage accounts payable, including preparing and issuing vendor payments (check, ACH, credit card)
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Receive, record, and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, credit cards) to appropriate accounts
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections
• Invoice all our daily routes and materials that have been picked up on a daily basis
• Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account status
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and respond to payment inquiries
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing/payment issues
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records within Sage accounting software
• Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly and securely
• Collaborate closely with the Controller on day-to-day accounting functions

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting
• Experience with Sage Accounting Software (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
