Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and customer service will drive efficiency and foster strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities Process and monitor incoming payments using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms Reconcile accounts receivable ledger by verifying transactions and resolving discrepancies through detailed analysis and account analysis techniques Prepare and send invoices accurately Follow up on overdue accounts through professional negotiation and effective phone etiquette to secure payment while maintaining positive customer relationships Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including journal entries, debits & credits, and account reconciliation reports Collaborate with other departments such as Accounts Payable. Assist in month-end closing procedures by preparing reports related to accounts receivable aging, revenue recognition, and account analysis Experience Proven experience in accounts receivable management within a corporate accounting or public accounting environment Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy in 10 key typing and attention to detail in account reconciliation tasks Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, perform account analysis, and resolve discrepancies efficiently Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service experience in collections or medical terminology contexts are highly valued Join us if you're eager to leverage your accounting expertise in a vibrant environment that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
