Temp-to-hire Job Description PrideStaff Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll and Accounts Receivable Specialist for our client, a prominent, real estate company based in Newark, N.J. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join their finance team to ensure the accurate processing of payroll and the efficient management of accounts receivable.Key Responsibilities Payroll Duties:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation. Address payroll-related inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner. Prepare payroll reports for management review.Accounts Receivable Duties:
Oversee the accounts receivable lifecycle, including invoicing, payment application, and reconciliation. Monitor tenant/client accounts and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections. Prepare aging reports and provide status updates to the finance department. Assist in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company credit policies. Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of experience in payroll and accounts receivable functions. Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems (experience in the real estate/property management sector is a plus). Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Why Work Here?
