Position expected to run through December 31, 2026 Precision Garage Door Service is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Pompton Plains, NJ. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with numbers, and supporting a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:

Process customer payments Post payment journals into the accounting system Match payments to outstanding invoices File checks and other accounting paperwork Assist with additional administrative/accounting tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site in our Pompton Plains office Must maintain a professional and ethical approach in a team-focused environment Ability to follow company policies and procedures consistently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable learning and using technology and accounting systems Ability to prioritize tasks and remain focused in a busy environment

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of relevant accounting or accounts receivable experience preferred Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is strongly preferred Familiarity with ServiceTitan and/or the home services industry is a plus Availability to work additional hours during busy periods, up to 40 hours per week and 5 days per week, is highly desired If you are reliable, organized, and eager to contribute to a growing team, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
