Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper and become a vital part of our financial operations! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will support the organization's financial health and provide clarity through detailed reporting. Responsibilities Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain general ledger accounting records in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory standards Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements as needed Prepare detailed financial reports, including financial statement writing and account analysis for management review Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and revenue streams to aid in financial planning Skills Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping and GAAP standards Experience with governmental accounting practices and non-profit accounting is a plus Ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation accurately Knowledge of technical accounting concepts such as journal entries, debits & credits, and account analysis Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks like 10 key typing and data entry efficiently Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and financial report writing to support comprehensive bookkeeping functions Embark on your bookkeeping career with us!
