Bookkeeper

Overview We are searching for a bookkeeping assistant who will work process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices. This position also requires reconciling vendor payables and recording receipts and payments made. Completion of accounting CPE courses is preferred. Responsibilities Record financial transactions and complete the posting process daily Verify transactions are recorded in the correct day book and the proper ledger (supplier, customer or general) Perform partial checks of the posting process Maintain data records, create reports Process accounts payable/receivable Experience Experience in logistics and/or transportation industries or corporate accounting preferred. Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, account reconciliation, and technical accounting principles. Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and financial report writing is essential. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills and ability to speak, write, and understand
